MAIN DUTIES:

  • 90% of the required work will be office based. Some travelling may be required.
  • Answering incoming phone calls and email enquiries from customers.
  • Quoting and following up customer enquiries.
  • Closing sales.
  • Processing orders.
  • Following up leads and converting to sales.
  • Machinery demonstrations in our working showroom.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Fluent English speaker
  • German, French, or Spanish speaking capabilities is an asset.

SUMMARY:

The main impact of this position will be closing deals and providing a high level of customer service throughout the sales process. The candidate will deal with customers over the phone, email and face to face. In this position, they will be both customer and supplier facing and must have good communication and organisation skills. They will be responsible for continuing to ensure the sales growth of the company.

The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills and show keen attention to detail. They should be confident answering the phone and dealing with requests from suppliers, customers and colleagues. They will need to be a team player and support the team with providing the expected level of customer service, sometimes getting involved with tasks not in their job description. They need to be computer literate and have an ability to pick up new skills quickly. They should show an interest in learning new computer skills. They have to be able to perform under pressure.

European Sales Executive

  • Facilitate the continued growth of our European based sales.
  • Working directly with the MD to further build and enhance our European presence and sales.
  • 70-90% of the required work will be office based. Travelling will eventually be required.
  • Answering incoming phone calls and email enquiries from our European customers.
  • Quoting and following up customer enquiries.
  • Closing sales.
  • Processing orders.
  • European market evaluation.
  • Local or remote machinery demonstrations.

KEY SKILLS:

  • German speaking (native proficiency)
  • English speaking (professional proficiency)
  • French and Spanish speaking (professional proficiency if possible)
  • A full international perspective to business.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Computer literate with a willingness and ability to learn new systems.

SUMMARY:

The focus of this position will be working directly with the European Managing Director to assist in the further growth and expansion of our European business. This person must have a good international perspective and knowledge of international business. Baileigh Industrial’s reach spans North America, Europe, and through to the Far East (Selling into more than 65 countries in 2016).

In this position, a successful candidate will be required to impact and enhance sales within Europe, while at the same time providing a high level of customer service throughout the sales process. A focus on improving our international customer services is required. The candidate will deal with customers and colleagues over the phone, through email, and also face to face, so must have very good communication skills.

A successful candidate must be able to work in Rugby, Warwickshire (assistance with relocation will be provided if necessary). They will need to be a team player and support the team by providing the expected level of customer service, while having a vision to accomplish a wide range of tasks that may be required in order to reach company goals. The candidate needs to be computer literate and have the ability to quickly pick up new skills and systems. Lastly, the ability to be able to perform under pressure is essential.
